Effective Ozone Sanitisation
for The Dairy Industry


THE PROBLEM

Dairy producers need to reduce both bacterial counts and harmful chemical usage. To obtain an "unadulterated" mark/label on a product, fewer additives and preservatives are required. This in turn requires increased controls and more frequent cleaning. Traditionally, additional cleaning requires additional labour, production downtime and chemicals, increasing costs and environmental damage.

THE SOLUTION

ArcAqua was installed, tested and benchmarked against more traditional, entrenched sanitisation methods. ArcAqua is not just a sanitiser; it provides numerous additional benefits.

EVALUATION

ArcAqua reduced water usage by up to 95% and only required 1.5 kWh per month to run the ozone generator. Further savings were made on chemical spend, and water. Water usage was also reduced, and in addition, as the ArcAqua system only uses cold tap water, no heated water was required.

ArcAqua allowed the dairy plant to take advantage of renewable natural resources, air and water, and reduce operational expenses, while improving on product quality.
