What is ArcAqua’s Ozone Sanitising Solution?
ArcAqua technology harnesses ozone; a powerful and natural oxidant with environmentally friendly competencies. Ozone is a naturally occurring molecule that consists of three oxygen atoms (O3), produced by the interaction between solar UV radiation and regular oxygen molecules (O2). It exists mostly at high altitudes and helps shield us from UV radiation. High levels of ozone at ground level (above 0.10 ppm) are undesirable and need to be controlled. Since Ozone has a short half-life and cannot be stored, it needs to be produced on-site.
ArcAqua systems produce and deliver a known volume of ozone, are adaptable and customised to fit food processing equipment and production lines across a broad range of industries.

ArcAqua's patented nozzle technology overcomes the limitations of traditional ozone distribution systems by using the physics of adsorption to safely harness the power of ozone. By delivering the ozone in a spray of water to the exact point of sanitisation, it provides a natural, zero-residue cleaning solution.
Pressurised water is supplied to a series of spray nozzles.
Ozone is generated and supplied to the nozzles.
The nozzle design uses physics of entrained air and molecular attraction to contain the ozone molecules within the spray.
SAFE OZONE DELIVERY ALLOWS CONCURRENT SANITISATION,
PRODUCTION AND STAFF PROXIMITY
Via the nozzle, the ozone is directed to the point of sanitisation, the spray minimises the amount of ozone able to escape into the work environment. Therefore maintaining levels that comply with OHS, while enabling personnel to continue operating within proximity of the sanitising process, even during the use of hand-held nozzles.
Each installation includes an Environmental Monitoring System (EMS). In the event of an ozone leak or the environmental level of the ozone reaching 0.10 ppm, the EMS will proactively shut down the ozone generating unit for safety and inspection.
