ArcAqua OZONE REPLACING CHEMICAL SANITIZERS

Effective Ozone Sanitisation
for The Dairy Industry
THE PROBLEM
Before ArcAqua, Goosen Boerdery sanitised their fruit with peroxyacetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine dioxide. The two main problems they were looking to solve:
- Managing the concentrations of their sanitisation cocktail.
- Pack-line corrosion.
THE SOLUTION
ArcAqua was installed to replace chemical sanitisation. The chemicals used accelerate corrosion and rust in the pack-line equipment.
EVALUATION
After ArcAqua was installed, Goosen Boerdery observed the following advantages:
- No pack-line interruptions to measure chemical concentrations.
- No chemical residues.
- No pack-line corrosion.
- Lower water consumption as ArcAqua runoff was recycled.
